Disclaimer
Last updated: March 7, 2026
Aivyx is currently in beta. The software is under active development and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or breaking changes.
No Warranty
Aivyx is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the software or the use or other dealings in the software.
Use at Your Own Risk
You acknowledge that Aivyx is beta software and you use it entirely at your own risk. The developers make no guarantees regarding:
- The reliability, accuracy, or completeness of any output generated by Aivyx or its AI agents
- The availability or uptime of any Aivyx services
- The security of data processed by third-party LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.)
- The preservation of data between software updates or version changes
- Compatibility with any specific hardware, operating system, or software configuration
AI-Generated Content
Aivyx uses large language models (LLMs) to generate responses, analysis, and content. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or misleading. You should independently verify any AI-generated output before relying on it for decisions, especially in professional, legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical contexts.
Third-Party Services
When using external LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini), your prompts and data are transmitted to those providers subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Aivyx's local encryption protects data at rest on your machine, but cannot control how third-party providers handle data in transit or at rest on their servers. For maximum privacy, use Ollama for fully local inference.
Encryption Disclaimer
While Aivyx implements industry-standard encryption (ChaCha20Poly1305, HKDF-SHA256), no encryption system is guaranteed to be unbreakable. The security of your data depends on factors including the strength of your passphrase, the security of your operating system, and proper handling of key material. Aivyx has not undergone a formal third-party security audit at this time.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Aivyx project, its contributors, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities
- Business interruption or downtime
- Personal injury or property damage
- Any damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content
- Costs of procurement of substitute goods or services
